Let's be honest.

Death is freaking scary.

It's unknown, unavoidable, and absolutely guaranteed.

Yet most of us would rather talk about almost anything else.

We tell ourselves we'll get around to making a plan someday. We'll have the conversations later. We'll write everything down when life slows down.

But life has a way of reminding us that later isn't promised.

In Case of Death was born from loss, close calls, tough conversations, and the realization that every family eventually finds themselves facing the things they hoped they wouldn't have to.

What started as a desire to be better prepared became something bigger.

A mission to help make death a little less taboo.

A little less overwhelming.

And a lot more human.

I believe talking about death doesn't invite it in.

It prepares us for the reality that one day it will arrive.

So let's talk about it.

Let's share stories.

Let's preserve memories.

Let's make plans.

Let's ask the hard questions while we still have the people we love here to answer them.

Because death may be inevitable, but confusion, chaos, and unfinished conversations don't have to be.
